Understand the task
A visible text watermark places a label over pixels. It can identify a creator or mark a draft, but it is not encryption, proof of ownership or protection against removal. This tool supports text, not uploaded logos or repeating patterns.
What this tool does
Add a one-line text watermark with position, color, opacity and proportional text size.
Static BMP input also works in everyday editing. Logo width uses the size percentage, preserves its ratio and fits inside the image. Repeated watermarks form a fixed grid; opacity applies to every tile. All processing remains local.
How to use
- Choose image
- Enter text, choose one of five positions, set size as a percentage of the shorter side, and adjust color and opacity. Create a preview and check readability before saving.

Limits and common errors
One line, 1–120 Unicode characters. Text shrinks to fit the image width. System fonts vary by device, so missing glyphs or different letter spacing are possible. No invisible metadata watermark is added.

Questions and answers
How can I avoid a watermark that is too faint?
Compare the text against both light and dark parts of the photo. Increase opacity or choose a contrasting color. The subtle dark outline helps on light areas, but you should inspect the downloaded file at its actual size.
