Random generators
How it works
Random selection chooses from a pool. With replacement, the same entry can return. Without replacement, an entry can be selected once per run. Duplicate text can represent separate tickets, so removing identical entries changes the pool.
What you can do
Pick entries, shuffle a list or create balanced random groups without uploading the list. Replace every occurrence of the literal placeholder with an independent choice from the pool. Empty pool entries are ignored; input is split into lines.
How to use it
- Paste or import a UTF-8 list. Choose lines, words, sentences, paragraphs, graphemes or digits. Choose pick, shuffle or groups. Set the number, duplicate policy and separator, then generate. Use the result as new input only when you want to replace the original list.
- Review the result and notes, then copy or download. Editing any input clears the previous result.
Errors and limits
Maximum 10,000 entries and 200,000 input characters. Graphemes keep emoji sequences together; sentence boundaries depend on the selected language and browser. Groups differ in size by at most one. This tool does not provide an independently verified drawing record.

Frequently asked questions
Why did the same name appear twice?
If identical entries are kept, each is a separate ticket. Without replacement prevents selecting the same ticket twice, not identical text from separate tickets. Enable removal of identical entries to give each distinct text one chance.
Are inputs or generated values uploaded?
No. Generation runs in this browser tab. Inputs and results are not added to URLs, uploaded or stored between visits. Copying and downloading happen only when requested. Your browser clipboard and saved files can remain after you leave.
