Custom dataset
Names must be unique. XML names use A–Z, a–z, digits, underscore, hyphen or dot, starting with a letter or underscore.

Random generators
How it works
Test data lets you exercise an application without copying production records. A schema lists field names and types. This generator creates independent field values; it does not infer realistic people, relationships or statistical distributions. UUID v4 is a random identifier, not an access token.
What you can do
Generate typed test records as JSON, CSV, TSV or XML, including nested objects and arrays. Object values contain a JSON array of field definitions; array values contain one field definition. Each definition uses name, type, min, max and values. Depth ≤6, nodes ≤100, array length ≤20 and nested rows ≤1000. Nested CSV/TSV cells contain JSON; XML arrays use item nodes.
How to use it
- Choose custom dataset, edit the field names and types, and configure integer ranges or one choice per line. Add or remove fields. Choose count and file format, then generate. The table shows the first ten records from the exact downloadable result. Identifier modes produce one value per line.

- Review the result and notes, then copy or download. Editing any input clears the previous result.
Errors and limits
Flat schemas: 1–20 fields and up to 10,000 records. Nested schemas: up to 1000 records. Output ≤2,000,000 characters. Large integers and sequences remain JSON strings. Formula protection can add an apostrophe. MAC values are locally administered unicast.

Frequently asked questions
Can generated IP or MAC addresses be used as real assignments?
No. They are syntax-shaped test values and may fall in reserved or occupied ranges. They do not establish ownership, uniqueness, connectivity or a routable network. UUID collisions are extremely unlikely but still possible.
Are inputs or generated values uploaded?
No. Generation runs in this browser tab. Inputs and results are not added to URLs, uploaded or stored between visits. Copying and downloading happen only when requested. Your browser clipboard and saved files can remain after you leave.
