What this tool does
A QR code stores data in a square grid. A phone reads the pattern to open a website, join Wi-Fi, import a contact or prepare an email. This tool creates static codes: the content is embedded directly in the pattern.
What you can make
Create five content types, choose square, rounded, dot or gradient modules, and add a small logo. The finder and alignment patterns retain their square structure. PNG and SVG include the quiet zone.
How to use it
- Choose the content type and enter its fields. Website addresses must start with http:// or https://.
- Choose colors, correction, size and an optional logo. Generate to check the actual rendered image.
- Download PNG or SVG after the content check passes. Scan the downloaded file with your own phones before printing.
Limits and scan tips
A four-module border is kept free. Dark-on-light contrast is required; higher correction adds density, and a logo may still make a code unreadable. A successful software check does not guarantee every camera or print size.
The tool does not create hosted files, editable redirects or scan statistics. Static codes have no service expiration, but a linked website can change or disappear. No content is added to the page URL or saved between visits.
Questions
Can I edit the destination later?
Changing the embedded content changes the QR pattern. To keep the same printed code, link to a page you control and update that page. This tool does not host redirects.
What does “image decoded” mean?
A decoder reads the rendered image and compares it with your full input. This catches some design mistakes. Always test the exported file and the final print with real phones.
