Use the flat PNG or SVG for scanning. The angled 3D image is artwork.
Relief print settings
STL has no colors. Use a light base and dark relief with a filament change. Slice and test before making copies.

What this tool does
These 3D scenes use a standard QR matrix. Tree leaves gather into its dark modules; terrain columns flatten into the same pattern. The 3D view is an illustration, while the scan view presents the original flat code.
What you can make
Build a tree in three seasonal palettes, a terrain of varied heights or a regular relief. Rotate the model, morph to the flat code and save a 3D image. Relief STL uses a solid base with slightly beveled module edges.
How to use it
- Enter the content and generate. Pick Tree, Terrain or Relief and a seasonal palette.
- Drag to rotate; click the scene or choose Scan view to bring the modules back into a flat QR code.
- Save the artwork or download the checked flat code. For physical printing, set plate dimensions and export the separate relief STL.
Limits and scan tips
A four-module border is kept free. Dark-on-light contrast is required; higher correction adds density, and a logo may still make a code unreadable. A successful software check does not guarantee every camera or print size.
The tool does not create hosted files, editable redirects or scan statistics. Static codes have no service expiration, but a linked website can change or disappear. No content is added to the page URL or saved between visits.
The 3D preview supports matrices up to 97×97. Larger codes keep flat exports. STL contains geometry without colors or units metadata; coordinates are millimeters. Print with contrasting materials, check your slicer and test a small sample.
Questions
Will the tree or angled image scan?
The scan view and flat exports are designed for reading. The tree, moving transition and angled artwork are not guaranteed to scan.
Does the STL contain the tree?
No. STL exports a separate QR relief plate from the same matrix, without a logo or gradient. Assign a light base and dark modules in your printing workflow.
