How it works
A digit string and its numeric value are different things. The strings 0021 and 21 denote the same integer, but preserving the zeros can matter when inspecting reversed digits.
What you can do
Apply one operation to each line. Digit operations preserve the negative sign and can retain leading zeros. Choose bases 2–36. Analysis exports tab-separated value, digit count, sign, parity remainder and palindrome flag.
How to use it
- Choose the digit operation and input base. Set the amount for rotation or rounding; enable leading zeros if their position matters.
- Paste one value per line or open a UTF-8 text file.
- Select Convert, inspect the result, then copy or download TXT. Changes clear old results. Undo restores your previous input and settings.
Errors and limits
Thousands commas require decimal input; removal validates grouping first. Digit rotation is to the left. Rounding uses baseᵏ with ties away from zero; truncation moves toward zero. Analysis counts the supplied digits, including leading zeros.
Digit increments wrap modulo the input base. Literal replacement preserves leading zeros; deleting every digit produces zero. Arrays contain numeric strings. Zigzag uses the amount as height (2–40); grouping uses it as width. Sum decomposition uses 1–500 terms; product decomposition requires an exact supplied divisor. Ordinals use ∅ as zero; von Neumann is limited to 12 and Zermelo to 100. Extraction accepts standalone decimal integer tokens and skips decimal fractions.
Limits: 200,000 input characters, 500 values and 1,000,000 output characters. The entire batch stops on an invalid line.
Each numeric input accepts at most 1,000 digits. Intermediate integer arithmetic is bounded to 16,384 bits.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I reverse −1200?
By default the result is −21. Enable Keep leading zeros to obtain −0021. The sign stays at the front; it is not treated as a digit.
Are my values uploaded?
No. Processing and file reading happen in this browser tab. Values are not placed into URLs or sent to a conversion service. Downloaded files remain under your control.
